HR4 provides services and tools that aid in job performance and customer service performance.
HR4 collects information by various methods including information actively provided by its customers, information about the use of its website, information collected through the provision of its services, and information learned during help desk support.
The types of personal information we collect is primarily human resources and job performance information inputted into the HR4 system by HR4 customers and customer employees. HR4 also collects information such as IP address and location information to the extent they are relevant to the provision of its services. We may record calls to or from our customer service representatives for purposes of accuracy, performance reviews, and training. HR4 customers are responsible for how they deal with employee information contained in the HR4 system.
The anonymous information generated by Google Analytics cookies about your use of HR4’s website is transmitted to Google – not HR4. This information is processed to compile statistical reports on website activity for this site. These reports are used to evaluate aggregate visitor usage to optimise the content, and its marketing, to better meet your needs.
We abide by any “do not track” or other privacy choices made by individuals when using our websites or online services. Our smartphone app tracks user location as needed to operate features such as “punch-in” and “punch-out”. It does not track user location when the app is not open. Users are encouraged not to authorize the HR4 app to run in the background.
This information is used to provide our services to our customers. HR4 only uses this information as directed by its customers. HR4 may use aggregate, anonymous, and statistical information which will not be linked to identified individuals or customers. This information could be for various other uses for HR4 and third parties.
HR4 may provide personal information to its consultants, subcontractors, and professional advisers (which shall be bound by privacy obligations) to assist HR4’s uses disclosed herein. HR4 does not sell or share personal or customer information with third parties unless directed to do so by a customer. HR4 provides interfaces between the HR4 system and third-party vendors for various related services. The customer chooses which of the available third-party services it wishes to deal with, and HR4 only shares information with those third-party services as directed by the customer. HR4 does not control and is not responsible in any way for the privacy or other policies or practices of those third parties, which are as between the third party and the customer.
HR4 does not share personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy.
We may use subcontractors located in Canada or the United States to process and store personal information. More information can be obtained from our Privacy Officer.
Personal information is protected by security measures appropriate to the nature of the information. HR4 follows security standards to protect the confidentiality of personal information so it is used for the intended purposes. HR4 retains information of a customer for only a limited time after the customer ceases to be a customer of HR4.
Individuals may review their personal information contained in HR4 files by contacting their employer.
HR4 may amend this policy from time to time by posting an updated version on our website. If such amendments affect how HR4 uses or discloses personal information already held by HR4 in a material way, HR4 will obtain consent.
