Dilawri Timeline

1985

The Dilawri family open their first dealership, Regina Honda, located on Broad Street in their hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan.

1990

The Dilawri Group of Companies expands their geographical presence outside of Saskatchewan with the opening of Ontario Mazda (now 401 Dixie Mazda), their first Ontario dealership.

1992

The Dilawri Group of Companies expands their geographical reach further with the opening of Calgary Honda in Alberta.

2002

Founders Ajay, Kap and Tony Dilawri establish The Dilawri Foundation, a charitable organization driven to impact the lives of children and their families in the areas of health care, research and social services.

2007

The Dilawri Group of Companies opens it’s first dealership in British Columbia with Acura of Langley.

2010

The Dilawri Group of Companies acquires MCL Motor Cars in Vancouver comprising the Land Rover, Jaguar, Bentley and Aston Martin brands.

2012

The Dilawri Group of Companies breaks ground on a flagship Audi dealership located in Vancouver, the future home of Audi Downtown Vancouver.

2015

The Dilawri Group of Companies acquires it first dealership in Quebec, Honda des Sources, located in West-Island, Montreal closely followed by Subaru, Volkswagen and Toyota in the same year.

2016

The Dilawri Group of Companies and OpenRoad Partner to build the new Porsche Centre in Richmond, British Columbia.

2019

The Dilawri Group of Companies acquires the four (4) Mercedes-Benz locations in Vancouver from Mercedes-Benz Canada, the single biggest automotive dealership acquisition in Canadian history.

2020

The Dilawri Group of Companies assumes co-ownership and operation of Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver, British Columbia.

2020

With the recent acquisition of Lexus Laval, Quebec and Mississauga Harley-Davidson, Ontario, the Dilawri Group of Companies further secures its title as Canada’s largest automotive group with 76 locations and 34 brands operating in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
